My name is Bex and I'm a dogoholic!

I've loved dogs since I can remember.  We were a cat family growing up, they were all pretty cool, but, they weren't dogs!

  I rescued my first dog in my early 20's, I'm now on rescue number 7.  

Anyone who knows me well, will know my love of dogs.  I am that annoying person (just ask my husband), who will always speak to the dog before the person, and if we have only met a few times, I may not remember your name, but I will always remember your dog's.  Anyone who knows me well, will also know I am an anxious dog owner.  I hate the thought of the vet more than the dog does, and I have never considered taking any of my dogs to a groomer, because what if they don't look after them as good as I do!

THE DOG HOUSE:

Being a dog groomer has been a secret pipe dream of mine for a long time now, but I thought I had no way of making it a reality.  A house move, and an unexpected "ideal world" conversation over a cuppa with my better half, and The Dog House has become a reality!

I know the anxiety of having to trust someone you don't know with the care of your dog.  Your dog's wellbeing will always come first when they are with me.  If that means a break during the groom, no problem.  If they are happier being groomed on the floor instead of on the table, no problem.  If they are at their most relaxed with a bit of Jazz or Opera playing in the background, no problem!
